Who can enter GigBack competitions?+
Anyone aged 18 or over who lives in the UK. You will be asked to confirm your age when you create an account and again at checkout.
Are the prizes real?+
Yes. We buy every ticket ourselves, directly from authorised ticket sellers, and we never open a competition unless the tickets are already secured. We are not affiliated with any artist, promoter or ticket seller.
How are winners chosen?+
Once a competition closes we draw a winner from all valid entries. The draw is run live and the winner is announced on our winners page. The winner is contacted by phone and email.
What is a skill question?+
Each competition includes a short question to make it a skill based prize competition under UK law. You must answer correctly to be entered. We try to keep the questions simple and relevant to the prize.
Can I enter for free?+
Yes. We offer a free postal entry route for every competition. Full details are on the postal entry page.
How do I get my prize?+
Tickets are sent directly to the email and phone number on your account, ahead of the event. If the prize includes travel or extras, our team will be in touch to arrange the details.
What happens if a competition does not sell out?+
Every competition runs to its published closing date and a winner is always drawn, even if not every entry has been claimed.
Where do the annual profits go?+
100% of our annual profits go back into UK grassroots music. GigBack exists to help live music thrive. When we generate an annual profit, we commit all of it to supporting UK grassroots music organisations, venues and eligible charities. We aim to make contributions throughout the year, followed by a final payment once our annual accounts confirm the total profit generated. As a growing business, there may be years when GigBack does not make a profit. When that happens, there is no profit to distribute, but our commitment remains unchanged. We will publish an annual impact update showing how much was contributed and where the money went. Entry payments are not donations, and no fixed or immediate contribution is attached to an entry or individual competition.
