Our mission
Gigs are better when everyone benefits.
We created GigBack because we love live music. Nothing beats a room full of people losing it to a band they'd travel anywhere to see.
Grassroots venues, independent promoters, artists and the organisations supporting live music are an essential part of the industry, but many are under increasing financial pressure. Rooms that gave every big band their first stage are closing.
That's why 100% of our annual profits go back into UK grassroots music.
GigBack exists to help live music thrive. When we generate an annual profit, we commit all of it to supporting UK grassroots music organisations, venues and eligible charities.
We aim to make contributions throughout the year, followed by a final payment once our annual accounts confirm the total profit generated. As a growing business, there may be years when GigBack does not make a profit. When that happens, there is no profit to distribute, but our commitment remains unchanged.
We will publish an annual impact update showing how much was contributed and where the money went.
What we run
Competitions for gig tickets and live music experiences across the UK, from small venue shows to the ones people talk about for years. Some are paid, from 99p an entry. Some are completely free, and all you need is an account.
Every paid competition is skill based, free postal entry is always available, every draw is recorded and auditable, and every winner is a real person.
